Articling Student
Peilin Yao is an articling student who graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2023.
In 2020, she graduated with an Honours Bachelor in Life Sciences at McMaster University. Peilin then attended Windsor’s law school the same year, where she then transferred to Osgoode after her 1L.
Peilin loves working with and meeting new people. She has been always actively involved in her community since high school.
During law school, Peilin was a clinic fellow at Osgoode’s IP Innovation Clinic for two years and worked closely with a variety of clients in conducting trademark and patent searching for their business. She was also a part of CSSA (Chinese Student and Scholar Association) at Windsor, where she drafted and translated contracts between English and Chinese.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing games, drawing, and exploring new restaurants.
